User Data Deletion Instructions
In compliance with the Meta Platform Developer Policies, general data privacy laws (such as GDPR/CCPA), and our internal security policies, Goodman Holdings and its portfolio ventures provide this transparent pathway for users to request the permanent deletion of their account data, login credentials, and cached social metrics.
Meta Integration Compliance: If you are using one of our applications linked to your Facebook, Instagram, or Meta Developer account and wish to remove our access and delete all associated data, please follow the steps outlined below.
How to Revoke Meta App Permissions
To stop our applications from accessing your social media profiles, you can revoke permissions directly through your Meta settings:
- Log in to your Facebook or Instagram account.
- Navigate to your account Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- Scroll down and select Apps and Websites from the left sidebar.
- Locate the specific Goodman Holdings venture application (e.g., Verse & Vine Auto-Scheduler).
- Click the Remove button next to the application name.
- Confirm the removal. This will revoke all future OAuth permissions for our API integrations.
How to Request Permanent Data Deletion
Revoking app permissions stops future access, but cached profile identifiers may remain in our storage. To initiate a permanent, irrevocable deletion of all collected information from our active and backup databases, follow these instructions:
- Send a direct email request to our Compliance team at: legal@goodmanholdings.co
- Use the subject line: Data Deletion Request - [Application/Venture Name].
- In the body of the email, please provide:
- Your full name.
- The email address associated with your registration or OAuth login.
- The specific platform/application used (e.g., SitePilot, Verse & Vine).
- Your unique User ID or Page ID (if available).
Our Deletion & Verification Timeline
Upon receipt of a data deletion request, our Compliance Officer (Abigail Stone) and Director of Infrastructure (Adrian Lockwood) will execute the following protocol:
- Verification (Within 72 Hours): We will send a confirmation receipt to your registered email to verify your identity and prevent fraudulent deletion requests.
- Data Scrubbing (Within 15 Days): We will permanently purge your technical records, profile logs, payment records (subject to tax audit requirements), and API tokens from our primary Supabase/GCP/Cloudflare databases.
- Complete Resolution (Within 30 Days): We will verify that backups have been updated to ensure zero trace remains, and we will issue a final **Certificate of Data Deletion** to your contact email.
Retention Exceptions
Please note that we may be legally required to retain specific financial transaction records, receipt records, or tax audit filings in accordance with Canadian tax laws. Such exceptions will be isolated and secured, and will never be used for marketing or operational purposes.
